As a single, female, homeowner on a budget, you are a lifesaver! No way I could afford a new washer right now and was worried about the cost of repair. Thank you.
Lex just wanted to say thanks for having this channel, you have know idea how much you have help me being knew to the tech world. Keep up the great work.
As simple as this sounds, it absolutely worked for me! Washer kept skipping the spin cycle at random, cloths all damp afterwards but I could still hear the motor pushing...This took maybe 10 minutes and now its back up and running. Thanks man, much appreciation!!! Better than calling a guy and dropping $100
Thanks bro! This was my exact issue and clearing the pressure switch tube fixed the issue of the lack of spin. Thanks for the easy to follow and concise video!
You are a life-saver. That pressure tube was gunked up with a bunch of crap. Cleared it out and the problem was fixed. Awesome. Thank you so much.
I'd just like to say THANK YOU!! You saved me time, money and a LOT of aggravation with this video. I blew into the hose and it worked immediately.
Probably one of the most helpful videos I've seen in a long time. Thanks!!
Thanks for taking the time to and effort to record and upload this video - it was very helpful and easy to understand :-)
A common problem on older machines that won't enter the spin cycle is the mechanical lid switch. I haven't worked on one yet with a magnetic switch like the one your working on. Just another thing to look out for Lex, thanks for the videos!
This is so helpful! I would try it but I am not “builder/fixer” savvy so I’ll have my husband check it out. Thank you so much!
THAT'S IT!!! Blowing on that little hose fixed it! There was some gunk in the lower end of the hose that I used a drill bit to pull out before I blew into it. Genius! Thanks so much for this!
Lex, dude! Thank you. You just saved me some money and I won't be stinking for the next few weeks. My tube was clogged. I unclogged it and I have no further issues. You are the man! Where was YouTube when I was a young man? This is the best invention ever for us guys! I hate being at the mercy of a repairman needlessly.
Thank you for this informative video. I used my air pressure hose to remove what appeared to be debris in my water level tube. I also pushed a little air into the plastic reservoir that fills and releases the water on the side of the wash tub you show in this video. The washing machine is spinning out as it should; I also think that the debris in the tube was affecting the level of the water going into the washing tub. The water wasn't reaching its maximum level for the "Large" cycle and now I think that won't be an issue going forward.
Thank you bro I was just about to take my washing machine to get fixed but you saved me time and money great video
Dude! I was all set to buy a new washer- until I saw this! I had tried "everything" and figured it had just died- and all I had to do was get rid of some gunk in a tube right in front of my face. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. The kids will have a christmas thanks to you lol- no sitting around the new machine washing clothes on christmas morning. Lifesaver! I hope you feel good about yourself- because you "da man"!!!!!!!!!! did I say THANK YOU?????????
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I originally tried vinegar and hot water to clear the drain tube, which worked temporarily, but this was the actual solution to my problem! I used a straw brush (or pipe cleaner) to unclog all the gunk in the tube since blowing into it wasn't working. Thanks again!!!
Your video just saved me a call to a handyman. Thanks man. Feels great to make your own fixins!
Had to come back on here thank you so much for helping us out! We had 2 service guys out one saying he is not sure. Another saying it is not worth fixing to many other problems. Got it up and running today by clearing the hose!
Thank you so much!! I was able to fix my washer by myself!!
thanks again for another DIY i learn a lot. keep on Lex.
